Amateur Talent Competitions are a vital and exciting aspect of the Festival each year. Partcipants travel from across Canada and United States and eagerly anticipate testing thier talents againist their peers. From Ukrainian dancing, playing Ukrainian folk melodies on a dulcimer, violin or other tradtional instrument, to singing their favorite folk song, you can feel the energy and love for what they are doing in each performance. Canada's National Ukrainian Festival is pleased to present these competitions each year to help promote and cultivate Ukrainian culture in the youth of today, so that it may be preserved well into future generations of Ukrainian descendants.
